The painting, drawing and photographic works of Kerry Stevens are in private and public collections throughout North America and Western Europe—including the Clara Scarampella Collection, Brescia, Italy; The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC; and the Museum of Modern Art Archives, New York City. Her one-woman show, Red Heart Summer Fire was curated by Dora Espinoza for Steve Cannon’s A Gathering of the Tribes Gallery, recently celebrated in the 2022 Whitney Biennial exhibition, NYC..
Curatorial projects include a brief but memorable season of The Tree Gallery Project on The Bowery in New York City’s Chinatown. As painting faculty at the National Academy Museum and School in NYC, Stevens mentored an international student body from 2014-2018. Other honors include the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation Grant, Taos, New Mexico.
Stevens has a Masters in Studio Art from the New York University Venice Program directed by Dr. Angiola Churchill and a BFA cum laude from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
